Scigreat Joins Hands with Shuifa Group for Steady Progress on the 500 MW Utility‑Scale Power Station Project in Laos
The 500 MW photovoltaic project in Namor District, Oudomxay Province, Laos has a planned total installed capacity of 500 MW, with a DC-side installed capacity of 650.65 MWp and an AC-side installed capacity of 500 MW. Power from the project will be collected via 35kV transmission lines to a newly built 230kV step-up substation, and connected to the substation of the under-construction 230kV transmission line of Laos’ national power grid.
In accordance with local planning requirements, no more than 20% of the generated electricity will be consumed locally in Laos, while no less than 80% will be exported to China through the China-Laos 500kV interconnection transmission line. This project serves as a key initiative for cross-border new energy power cooperation between China and Laos.
